RESUMO
The principal objective in common beans as well as in crop research, has been the search for genotypes with better productivity and commercial acceptability. Other equally important targets have been tolerance or res1stance to pests, diseases and drought. The aim of the present research was to test twelve bean genotypes for productivity using techniques of fluorescence emission and oxygen exchange rate by plants, comparing them with the genotype Carioca that have large stability and most mean productivity among the varieties planted. The parameters determined were minimal fluorescente (Fo), maximal (Fm), and terminal (Ft), variable fluorescence, Fv (Fv = Fm - Fo), Quencher efficiency (Eq) and fotochemical efficiency (Ef). It was yet evaluated the 02 evolved during photosynthesis and consumption during respiration. The twelve genotypes were divided in 4 groups, each with having the cv. Carioca as an internal check in a total of four genotypes each time with three replications. Each group was studied at a time by the lmpo8s1bility to work with alI genotypes simultaneously. The results showed no differences among genotypes for the fluorescence parameter measured in the experiment. ...Note: The complete abstract is available with the full electronic digital thesis or dissertations.
