RESUMO

This work is a descriptive research that explores the concept and the possible relationships of staging and its practice at a teaching and learning art in school, trying to analyze a possible contribution coming from this educational exercise. The data presented were collected from a group of students from first year of a school of dance of Londrina-PR, administered by an NGO under agreement with the municipal government. Focuses on variations that may cause learning and aims to reflect the attitudes present as research, search and construction of knowledge in the experience of sustained performance, creation and presentation of stage and subsequent analysis. Accordingly, the proposed dialogue between education and art to design a contextualized reading of the work as the construction of knowledge and perception of the world. Examines this practice and its pedagogical implications for formation and training of the student, with contributions coming from reading the many different languages in the Art of Living Show. The conclusion we reach is the perception that the exercise of theatrical staging, to teaching and learning, provides the appearance of channels of communication among involved, giving them the opportunity to expose ideas and space to develop them creatively , which contributes to the formation of the individual and enhances the ability to live in society, beyond the development of specific skills in the artistic language that had access.
