RESUMO
The aim of this work is to make evident the phenomenon of the feminization in culture during the Belle Époque in Curitiba. Consideringthe research in newspaper and magazines at the end of the XIX thcentury and the beginning of the XX th,we have observed the increasing of women participation in public spaces in society and progress and modernization of Curitiba, village that has been benefited by the Paraná State economic growth. The occupation of public spaces by women - before this, they were confined to the domestic area - resulted not on1ythe visibility of women but also new possibilities of action in terms of profession or in terms of developing the self, in the understanding of social contact and the self-reflection, originating the growing influence of its creations and female habits of doing over the social and cultural constitution, impelling new conquers in the field of citizenship.
