Adult Fanconi syndrome with monoclonal abnormality of immunoglobulin light chain

RESUMO
Two adult cases of the Fanconi syndrome are described, in each of which there was abnormal urinary excretion of immunoglobulin κ-chain. The significance of this finding is discussed in relation to the recognized association between multiple myeloma and the Fanconi syndrome.
