Análise dos dados do satélite NOAA para interpretação do Índice de Vegetação no estado do MS

RESUMO
This work is a systematil register, resulting from the examination of images of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, produced by the processing of data form the radiometer AVHRR of the satellite NOAA, with a spatial resolution of 1 km, within the Computational environment SPRING. We looked to adjust standards processing procedures, with contrast, segmentation and classification, to establish a result that could be considered enviromental planning, for three related class es of a Grond level Carbon concentration, and possible indicaturs of biodiversity. The results demonstrated good visual correlation between the studied and selected images, with the reference imagies, for which the scale was foud to be adequate. The necessity for advances in the study of the available data of the NOAA was also identified, As the digital products are of low cost and show great potential for supporting the study of regional mesoecologia.
