RESUMO

The applieation of thermoplastic materiaIsin outdoors have been inereasing in the last years. In this case, these materials are exposed to several weathering factors like radiation, temperature, pollution, rain, wind, ete. For that reason it is neeessary to find out adequate stabilization systems which allow a good performance for polymeric products. However, the polymeric materials performance is still far from the expected one carrying on excessive substitution costs. In current literature there is hardly any correlation between accelerated and natural aging, specially for Brazilian s conditions, which will allow the medium life time prediction for polymeric products during weathering.
