The identification of eating disorders through appropriate tools and instruments have become important, especially through data such as weight, height and skin folds, calculation of body mass index and body fat percentage and application of EAT-26 . As a result it was found that adolescents were female with an average age of 13.8 2.7 years. The average percentage of fat found in the adolescents was 20.9% (ranging from 8.6 to 41.8%). The data showed that most adolescents (52,2%) was with BMI in 18,5, 28,9% sowed above 22 and 18,9% was with the IMC (between 18,5 e 22 kg/m2) n the range of normality. But the self-administered questionnaire revealed a tracking of cases through the EAT-26 positive in 16.6% of adolescents. The diet chronically given by the sample of dancers studied reflected a high prevalence of malnutrition. In conclusion we have that they can provide data on long-term factor for nutritional unwanted effects, such as: deficiency of growth and development, hormonal changes, among others. Therefore, the results found in this study suggest the presence of symptoms that characterize changes in the pattern of feeding behavior, especially when combining nutrition assessment, together with the positive results of EAT-26, that may be useful in screening of disturbances in eating habits. Thus, emphasizes the need for more careful monitoring and evaluation in the existence of eating disorders and their environment slapper in sports as a means of prevention.
