RESUMO
Growth on Dubos oleic acid agar plates, incubated for 48 hr at 37 C in candle jars, provides a method for differentiating meningococci from gonococci. All of our 54 strains of meningococci, but none of the 49 strains of gonococci, grew on this medium.
