Entre a atração e a repulsa

RESUMO

Esta pesquisa realizou-se a partir da análise de diversos trabalhos de minha autoria nas artes plásticas. O processo da realização dos trabalhos iniciou-se com formas tridimensionais, objetos, esculturas, instalações e partiu para suportes bidimensionais, desenhos e pinturas, que correspondem à fase atual. As obras que aqui foram descritas incluem trabalhos desde a época em que cursei a Faculdade de Artes Plásticas até o presente momento; em cada etapa, justifico as mudanças dos temas, dos materiais, das técnicas, além das influências recebidas do meio acadêmico e artístico. Para acompanhar este estudo escolhi o tema "atração e repulsa", que serviu de eixo central durante o processo analítico. Além da temática principal, citei como referências alguns artistas, destacando os que me influenciaram: Marcel Duchamp, Nelson Leimer e Jeff Koons. O título, "Entre a atração e a Repulsa", foi um caminho utilizado para questionar meus trabalhos e algumas situações do meu interesse, tais como: crenças, vida e morte, natureza, identidade, sexo, cultura popular e ironia Abstracts: This research was developed based on the anaIysis of various artworks that I produced. The process of artistic production started with the development of 3-D shapes, objects, sculptures, installations and pointed towards 2-D shapes, paintings and drawing - corresponding to the current stage. The artworks included in this research range from those ones I produced when I was studying Arts at university to the present momento I anaIyse and justify the development of the themes involved in each stage of my artwork production, the techniques involved and materiais used as well as the influence received from the artistic and academic environment. In order to guide such study, I adopted "attraction and repulsion" as a central theme of the anaIytical processoI aIso made use of some artists as reference in which a few of them played an important role in my work: Marcel Duchamp, Nelson Leimer and Jeff Koons. The tittle "Amongst the Attraction and the Repulsion" was employed to question my artworks and severa! situations of my interest, such as: beliefs, life and death, nature, sex, popular culture and irony
