RESUMO
This works presents a study on the hydrodynamic lubrication in hydrostatic extrusion processes. To analyze the process parameters and determine the optima conditions, it is showed a mathematical model related to the hydrodynamic lubrication that defines minimum fritcion and reduced extrusion pressures. Finaly, there are showed theoretical results from the simulation of the model and the experimental results. These results are compared and determine the otima parameters for the hydrostatic process
