Estudo sobre propostas de formação de professores para ensinar matemática a crianças das séries iniciais

RESUMO
The purpose of this study was to analyze some formation proposals of teachers from Elementary School, referring to Mathematics teaching with the purpose of contributing to the thinking and to action proposals in arder to better the programs. The methodology adopted was based on a review of the program materiais of formation designated to Mathematics teaching in the sense of investigating if its elaboration was coherent with the results of the researches on teacher formation. The bibliographical research and documental analysis were used, besides nine interviews with three teachers taking part of each program: PROFORMAÇÃO - Formation Program of Teachers exerting his/her profession, PEC - Undergraduate formation and VEREDAS Graduate Formation of Teachers in arder to analyze how to evaluate the offered formation to teach Mathematics to children. The research tried to identify the perspectives that were spread in these materiais concerning the knowledge that the teacher that is going to act in Elementary School must construct in arder to teach and be able to promete the effective learning of the students. According to the literature studied and the research performed, it was possible to conclude that in arder to have an adequate teaching of Mathematics in Elementary School, it is necessary to develop programs that offer opportunities to consolidate and deepen in an articulated way the knowledge of Mathematics contents, the teaching knowledge of these contents and the curricular knowledge of Mathematics. Besides taking practice into consideration and making moments available so that the teacher can explain and discuss his/his beliefs, conceptions and develop practical activities promoting thinking and the theory that involves it.
