RESUMO

This research develops a method that defines indicators according to the company vision for the software development division, thus allowing for the management of process improvement. To attain this objective, the method developed uses BSC and GQM concepts, thus taking advantage of the benefits identified in each of the techniques, assuring objective results for the assessment of the process improvement and the return on investment. The work presents the applicability of the method to a real case, and the achieved results are described, as well as the difficulties found after the implementation. An evaluation of the proposed method is presented, with the achieved results in the case application, thus generating a critical view of the method, with suggestion for future studies
