RESUMO

A current issue in mature reservoirs is the decline of oil production, after years of exploitation. To solve this problem and keep up the production, methods of supplementary recovery, such as the injection of water and gas have been used as well as the measurement of present saturations of oil in old wells. The saturation data are used to determine intervals with possible remaining oi!. However, the use of this data for tridimensional modeling of these oil reservoirs is still incipient. This project aims at building 3D models of actual saturation of fluids using geostatistical techniches with stochastic and deterministic methods. This approach intends, as well, to sharp areas of residual concentration of hydrocarbonates, which can be useful as targets to future campaigns of well reactivations. This work focuses on the oil saturation with data obtained by Petrobras in the period between 1999 and 2001 with 136 wells, 26 ofwhich have saturation data obtained with PSGT. The first model consists of the construction of the 3-D geological model based on Gaussian truncated simulation of the electrofacies using vertical proportion curves and proportion matrix. After the validation of the geological method, it has been estimated, by kriging, the petrophysical characteristics of the reservoir (porosity and saturation) and the probabilistic scenarios were built to define the target areas for new researches
