RESUMO
This thesis describes the brasiliense (made in Brasília) cinema as an important artistic and cultural feature in Distrito Federal, through the approaching of its past and present constituent elements. The research perspective considered that the brasiliense cinema starts with the shootings of the construction of Brasília, and continues to this day. In order to assure the verity of such perspective, in which cinema is rendered as an activity developed throughout the whole history of Brasília, a linear narrative was adopted, basing on different sources. This narrative analyses objetifications of the brasiliense cinema to interpret its aroused meanings, as seen from the viewpoint of this study
