RESUMO

The essay deals with the presence of different voices about racisms in Brazil. It analyses two main speeches against affirmative policies and criticizes the sociological traditions over which they are maintained on the present. It focuses on the asymmetry among the narratives about nationalism and identities and its consequences on the distribution of representation as narrative on the other. On the past few years, the discussion over affirmative policies for black peoples has gained visibility on the media and intellectuals surroundings; therefore, the essay has interpreted the arguments of an anthropologist and a journalist on the subject.
