RESUMO

This research is included in the discussion about the voluntary work. The meaning point is the voluntary program in the reformulation of the capitalist sistem instaled for nowadays, in twenty century and the work devaluation. We have been discussed the Brazil State reform, the State careclenees and the rising the â third sectorâ, with its new social interference function, marked for solidarity values that donât agree with the sistemic solidarity logic, secured by the laws from 1988, basead in the well feeling from the comunity. We analised the urban zone from Recife, five institutes from the âthird sectorâ that work with voluntaries: the needed children with cancer group (GAC), the disables children aistence association (AACD), the needed children with cancer institute (NACC), the matern and childrenâ s institute (IMIP) and the Pernambuco cancer hospital (HCP). Through na analitc study, based in quantitative datas, we analysed the colocted datas from the institutes files; relatory about the programas developed by the voluntaries; through the observation, interviews with the voluntaries coordinators and with the voluntaries. The results reveal the existence of diferent kinds of voluntary participacion: 1) captation of resources; 2) substitution of the employee ( payed work); 3) responsability of offering services to the comuity ; 4) institutional marketing; 5) humanizate the health services. We can say that the voluntary doesnât figure the health assistence as right, in the âthird sectorâ, marked by a solidarity with philantropic values. The social aspect is not only a state responsability anymore, but a citizen right, becaming a responsability of the own comunity
