1. Development of a new version of an automatic commutator injector and a procedure for the photometric determination of ethanol in distilled spirits

2. Sobre uma Construção Relacionada ao Quadrado Tensional não-Abeliano de um Grupo / On a Construction Related to the non-Abelian Tensor Square of a Group
Sejam G e Gj grupos isomorfos.

4. Extensões cíclicas de grupos pro-p livres e representações inteiras p-ádicas
Let F be a free pro-p group of finite rank and consider Cpn the cyclic group of order pn. In this thesis we exhibit the ZpCpn-lattices that can be obtained by factoring F ⋊ Cpn (semi-direct product pro-p) by the commutator subgroup F′ = [F, F].

5. THE COST OF MAINTENANCE TRANSFER UNDER LOAD TAP OF THE TRANSFORMERS POWER OF EXTRA HIGH VOLTAGE THE ELETRONORTE / METODOLOGIA PARA REDUÇÃO DE CUSTOS NA MANUTENÇÃO DOS COMUTADORES DE TAP SOB CARGA DOS TRANSFORMADORES DE POTÊNCIA DE EXTRA ALTA TENSÃO DA ELETRONORTE
In this work a methodology for reduction of maintenance cost in the on-load tap changers (OLTC) of extra high voltage is proposed. The methodology is based on the use of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) for the intelligent processing of input signals of the commutator. The neural nets adequately trained allow to create an information system and dedicated dia

6. Injetor multicanal com válvulas de estrangulamento para análise em fluxo
An important component for the automation of flow injection analysis (FIA) systems is the sample injection valve. A simple and inexpensive commutator with 16 pinch valves (8 normally open and 8 closed) was developed and configured as a multichannel injection valve. It is activated by a single solenoid of 3 Kgf, powered by a pulsed driver circuit, controlled

7. Operador de Dirac, espaços de Riemann- Cartan-Weyl e a natureza do campo gravitacional
In this work we present a formulation of Einstein s gravitational theory as a field theory in the sense of Faraday, i.e., as a theory in which the gravitational field, like the others physical fields, is defined on the flat Minkowski space-time. The main motivation for the construction of this theory comes from the fact that in the General Relativity does no

8. Traces, ideals, and arithmetic means
This article grew out of recent work of Dykema, Figiel, Weiss, and Wodzicki (Commutator structure of operator ideals) which inter alia characterizes commutator ideals in terms of arithmetic means. In this paper we study ideals that are arithmetically mean (am) stable, am-closed, am-open, soft-edged and soft-complemented. We show that many of the ideals in th

9. Axial distances in discrete Möbius groups.
We describe here new lower bounds for the trace of the commutator of a discrete two-generator group of Möbius transformations. These results lead to sharp estimates for the distance between the axes of elliptics in a discrete group and hence to new bounds for the volume of hyperbolic manifolds and orbifolds that will be discussed elsewhere.

10. Cauchy integrals on Lipschitz curves and related operators
In this note, we establish certain properties of the Cauchy integral on Lipschitz curves and prove the Lp-boundedness of some related operators. In particular, we obtain the recent results of R. R. Coifman and Y. Meyer [(1976) “Commutateurs d'intégrales singulières:” Analyse harmonique d'Orsay no 211, Université Paris XI] on the continuity of the so-c

11. TRANSLATION OPERATORS ON THE HALF-LINE
The self-adjoint algebra of operators generated by the semigroup of translation operators acting on the Hilbert space of functions supported on the half-line is studied. A real-valued index is introduced and is used to determine the spectrum of the Wiener-Hopf integral operators with distribution kernel having an almost periodic Fourier transform. Further, t

12. Dynamics of Systems with Large Number of Degrees of Freedom and Generalized Transformation Theory*
A generalized transformation theory which leads to a non-Hamiltonian description of dynamics is introduced. The transformation is such that all averages of observables remain invariant. However, the time evolution of the density matrix can no longer be expressed in terms of a commutator with the Hamiltonian. Therefore such transformations are not canonical i
