1. Surface Application of Lime on a Guava Orchard in Production
ABSTRACT Several complications can arise, either directly or indirectly, from implementation of measures to correct soil acidity in established fruit orchards, such as impaired roots, lower root volume, risk of plant infection, propagation of diseases, promotion of pest development (especially nematodes), and soil disaggregation and compaction. These factors

2. Forms of sulfur in Brazilian Oxisols under no-tillage system / Formas de enxofre em Latossolos sob sistema plantio direto
Soil is a critical component of the global sulfur (S) cycle acting as source and a sink for various S species and mediating changes of S oxidation states. However, very little is known about the identities of these specific organic and inorganic S containing molecules, especially in Brazilian soils under no-tillage (NT) system. Thus, the objectives of this s

3. CALCÁRIOS CALCÍTICO E DOLOMÍTICO E ALTERAÇÕES NOS ATRIBUTOS DE SOLOS E PLANTAS SOB SISTEMA DE PLANTIO DIRETO / CALCÍTIC AND DOLOMITIC LIME AND ALTERATIONS IN THE ATTRIBUTES OF SOILS AND PLANTS IN NO-TILLAGE

4. Macrofauna associada a Millepora alcicornis Linnaeus, 1758 (CnidÃria: Hydrozoa) em Ãreas sobre diferentes nÃveis de influÃncia do turismo subaquÃtico na Ãrea de proteÃÃo ambiental estadual dos recifes de coral (RN) / Macrofauna associated with Millepora alcicornis Linnaeus, 1758 (Cnidaria: Hydrozoa) in areas on different levels of influence of underwater tourism in the state environmental protection of coral reefs (RN)
The limestone of the genus hidrÃide Mil / epora occurs in tropical regions around the planet as a regular component of coral reefs. MilÃporas are found at depths less than 1 to 40 m. The live coral create a rich variety of habitats for many species by providing substrate for sedentary organisms and food or shelter for the bodies moving. The aim of this stu

5. A uniquely preserved Ediacaran fossil with direct evidence for a quilted bodyplan
Ediacara fossils are among the oldest known macroscopic and complex life forms. Their bodyplan, ecology, and phylogenetic affinities have been controversial. On the basis of taphonomic observations, Seilacher [Seilacher, A. (1989) Lethaia 22, 229–239] proposed that the core elements of the Ediacara biota, the vendobionts, were constructed with serially or
