1. PROPRIEDADES MAGNÉTICAS DO MODELO DE HUBBARD CLÁSSICO. / MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF HUBBARD MODEL CLASSIC.

3. Zeros de Fisher e aspectos críticos do modelo de Ising dipolar / Fisher\ s zeros and critical aspects of the dipolar Ising model
We study the critical behavior of the dipolar Ising model on two-dimensional regular lattices. This model presents a phenomenologically rich scenario due to the effect of frustration caused by the competition between the pure Ising interaction and the dipolar one. To study the criticality of this model we apply finite size scaling relations for the partition

4. Comportamento crítico da produção de entropia em modelos com dinâmicas estocásticas competitivas / Critical behavior of entropy production in models with competitive stochastic dynamics
We study kinetic phase transitions and the critical behavior of the entropy production in spin models with nearest neighbor interactions subject to two Glauber dynamics, which simulate two thermal baths at different temperatures. In this way, it is assumed that the system corresponds to a continuous time Markov process which obeys the master equation. Thus,

6. Efeitos da aperiodicidade sobre as transições quânticas em cadeias XY / Effects of aperiodicity on the quantum transitions in XY chains

7. Tsallis scaling in the long-range Ising chain with competitive interactions
A numerically efficient transfer matrix approach is used to investigate the validity of the Tsallis scaling hypothesis in the long-range Ising spin chain with competitive interactions. In this model, the interaction between two spins i and j placed r lattice steps apart is Ji, j = (-1)ζ(i,j)J0/rα, where ζ(i, j) is either 0 or 1. This procedure has succeed

Two-dimensional spin model with nearest-neighbor ferromagnetic interaction and long-range dipolar interactions exhibit a rich phase diagram, whose characteristics have been exploited by several studies in the recent literature. Furthermore, the possibility of explain observed phenomena in ultrathin magnetic films, which have many technological applications,

9. Dimer models on planar lattice. Transfer matrix and soutions by fermion representation / Modelos de dímeros em redes planas.
We solve the dimer model on two different planar lattices, the 4-8 lattice and the honeycomb lattice. In the dimer model on the 4-8 lattice there is a phase transition of the (two-dimensional) Ising type; on the honeycomb lattice there is a phase transition known as 3/2. After defining the model we show that the calculation of the partition function can be f

Using the methods for optimal simulation of quantum logic gates, we perform a quantitative estimation of the time resources involved in the execution of universal gate sets for the case of three representative models of quantum computation based on global control. The importance of such models stems from the solution to the problem of experimentally addressi

12. The spin-1/2 ising model with skew magnetic field at high temperatures
We calculate the thermodynamics of the one-dimensional spin-1/2 Ising model in the presence of a constant skew magnetic field. We obtain the high-temperature expansion of its Helmholtz free energy (HFE), for the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic cases, up to order beta7. This expansion permits us to obtain the behaviour of the model for $ |J| \beta \stackr
