1. Efeito do ângulo da fieira na geometria e propriedades mecânicas de barras trefiladas
In cold drawing of metallic bars most of the plastic flow is caused by compressive forces which arise from the reaction of the metal to the die. Due to the characteristics of the process this flow is not homogeneous along the cross section of the bar and is influenced by the die geometry. This inhomogeneous deformation generates residual stresses in the bars

Che

3. DESENVOLVIMENTO DE ATUADORES TRIDIMENSIONAIS BASEADOS EM MÚSCULOS ARTIFICIAIS DIELÉTRICOS DE UMA OU MÚLTIPLAS CAMADAS / DEVELOPMENT OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL ACTUATORS BASED ON DIELECTRIC ARTIFICIAL MUSCLES OF ONE OR MULTIPLE LAYERS
Artificial muscles are versatile for the actuator projects, because, as well as the natural muscles, they can have small dimensions or they are grouped to obtain big dimensions. Muscle capacity to allow construction of actuators without movable parts allows great economy of energy, avoiding attritions for sliding, lessening waste, and reducing noise.Artifici

4. dynamic interaction dam-reservoir: analytical and numerical models / Interação dinâmica barragem-reservatório : modelos analíticos e numéricos
In the present work, the interaction problem between the dam structure and the fluid of the reservoir is studied in a dynamic analysis in the frequency domain. An analytical procedure through the variable separation technique is used to solve the mathematical models equations that represent the problem, resulting in analytical formulations for the field of h

5. Vehicle modeling by subsystems
Computer simulations have become very popular in the automotive industry. In order to achieve a good conformity with field test, sophisticated vehicle models are needed. A real vehicle incorporates many complex dynamic systems, such as the drive train, the steering system and the wheel/axle suspension. On closer inspection some force elements such as shock a
