2. ANÁLISE DE ESTABILIDADE DE ESCOAMENTOS VISCOSOS E VISCOELÁSTICOS / LINEAR STABILITY ANALYSIS OF VISCOUS AND VISCOELASTIC FLOWS
Steady state,two-dimensional flows may become unstable under two and three-dimensional disturbances, if the flow parameters exceed some critical values. In many practical situations, determining the parameters at which the flow becomes unstable is essential. The complete understanding of viscous and viscoelastic flows requires not only the steady state solut

3. Desenvolvimento de equipamento de teste de estruturas miniaturizadas: testes em estrutura útil na eliminação de partículas. / Development of machine to test miniaturized structures: tests in util structure from particles elimination.
Samples with small volume and complex matrix, such as biological systems, require careful preparation. Many of these samples are better analyzed in miniaturized structures owing to the need of detect cells and microorganisms in different arrays. Therefore equipment able to detect and destroy microorganisms and structures to previously retain them are require

4. Modeling of the Fluid-Structure Interaction in Inelastic Piping Systems
In many engineering applications, compliant piping systems conveying liquids are subjected to inelastic deformations due to severe pressure surges such as plastic tubes in modern water supply transmission lines and metallic pipings in nuclear power plants. In these cases the design of such systems may require an adequate modeling of the interactions between

5. Plasma triglycerides determine low density lipoprotein composition, physical properties, and cell-specific binding in cultured cells.
The relationship between the plasma triglycerides and the LDL triglycerides of 30 normal and 48 hypertriglyceridemic subjects has been quantified; the data fit a simple adsorption isotherm, LDL triglyceride/(LDL triglyceride+LDL cholesterol ester) = 0.65 plasma triglyceride/(464 + plasma triglyceride). In vitro transfer of triglyceride from concentrated VLDL
